Lead Subaru of America’s export compliance program: maintain regulatory compliance (BIS, FTR, OFAC, CBP), determine ECCNs and licensing, manage EEI filings, develop training and policies, coordinate cross‑functional and government interactions, and supervise an export compliance team.

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting, including submitting consolidated reporting to Subaru Corporation. Oversee G&A and capital expense budgeting, standalone financial statements, audit coordination (external and J-SOX), implementation of new accounting standards, lease and tax accounting (IFRS), and lead a small finance team while partnering with stakeholders for analysis and compliance.

Support Subaru incentive offerings through Subaru Motors Finance by building and maintaining financial models (low-rate, lease, loyalty), auditing and reconciling subvention bill data with sales, producing cost analyses and KPI/dashboard reports, managing program communications and approvals, maintaining incentive web content, supporting residual value reserve models, and responding to ad hoc reporting and automation requests.

Lead connected-vehicle technology strategy and architecture: define standards, reference patterns, and governance; drive cloud and DevSecOps adoption; research and evangelize technologies; coach engineering teams; manage vendor and internal partnerships; approve architectural decisions to ensure secure, interoperable, maintainable solutions.
