Designs electro-mechanical liquid cooling systems in SolidWorks from concept through production support. Creates sheet metal designs, complex assemblies, detail drawings, bills of materials, and toleranced documentation. Selects fittings, tubing, hardware, and other components while ensuring manufacturability, serviceability, cost, quality, and schedule requirements. Collaborates with refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to resolve build issues, manage risks, and implement design changes.

Lead vendor technical coordination and support automated assembly, machine vision, and MES/IIoT integration. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues; implement corrective actions and preventive maintenance. Produce SOPs and technical documentation, analyze OEE/downtime for continuous improvement, and support training and equipment standardization.

Manage and grow existing Engineered Materials accounts in the Data Center segment while developing new business. Build relationships across customer organizations, perform market analysis, support quoting and project execution, collaborate with engineering and sales operations, and track opportunities in Salesforce. Travel to customer sites as needed.

Develop and execute global procurement and supply chain strategies; manage strategic suppliers, contracts, negotiations, costs, tariffs, freight, sustainability, inventory reporting, and supply chain risk. Lead supplier performance and corrective actions, guide purchasing teams, improve real-time supply chain visibility, support Business Central data optimization, and partner with IT on AI-enabled decision-making. The role also manages travel-related contracts and presents spending and operational metrics.

Supports the design, modeling, simulation, and experimental validation of thermal management systems for electronics cooling. Responsibilities include thermal-fluid modeling, liquid and two-phase cooling design, machine learning application, data center cooling analysis, experiments, instrumentation, CAD documentation, Python and MATLAB tool development, prototype testing, and collaboration with senior engineers on cooling technology improvements.

Develop thermal and mechanical engineering solutions for customer requirements, serving as the primary technical contact. Design components and assemblies using 3D CAD and 2D drawings, manage prototypes and testing, coordinate materials and purchase requests, and transition designs into manufacturing. Collaborate with customers, Sales, Production, and Manufacturing Engineering while managing project quality, cost, delivery, documentation, and safety requirements.

Manage and grow local customer accounts by maintaining relationships, meeting annual sales targets, developing new local business, leading cross-functional project teams, conveying customer requirements to engineering for design/quotations, improving die-cut industrial knowledge, completing reports, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Plan and optimize manufacturing processes to minimize cycle time and cost. Create and modify VMC/CAM programs, perform FAI, support MRB and quality directives, maintain tooling/fixture records, produce SOPs/work instructions, lead continuous improvement, and validate tooling and processes. Requires proficiency with SolidWorks, Mastercam, Microsoft Office/Outlook, CNC operation, and basic CMM knowledge.

Support and lead development of new manufacturing processes and equipment, drive NPI and DFM reviews, ensure tooling/gauging and quality requirements, assist supplier QA, manage equipment installations and projects, compile manufacturing documentation, perform process problem solving and risk assessments, and uphold 5S and Lean principles while liaising with customers and suppliers.

Support engineers and managers in product development and process improvement by performing inspections, tooling checks, equipment calibration and troubleshooting, coordinating FA runs and reports, scheduling maintenance, and carrying out assigned tasks to ensure product quality and standardized processes.
