Design and develop mission-critical power conversion and control systems for military platforms. Perform system-level electrical design, schematic creation, component selection, circuit and power analysis, prototype support, testing, qualification documentation, and customer design reviews while ensuring reliability, manufacturability, and military compliance.

Design, develop, integrate, and validate deterministic real-time control and monitoring software on NI Linux RT and LabVIEW for mission-critical military platforms. Produce MIL-compliant documentation, perform HIL testing, support PDR/CDR reviews, troubleshoot deployed systems, and maintain configuration management and lifecycle artifacts for long-term sustainment.

Design and improve manufacturing processes for high-voltage electromechanical fuses, lead process development projects from concept through pre-launch, create tooling/fixture designs, support NPI and process transfers, collaborate with design, suppliers and global make sites, and provide sustaining support to reduce cycle time, defects and costs.

Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic components and circuitry. Support feasibility studies, testing, qualification, production launch, failure analysis, and maintain design documentation, reports, and test procedures while collaborating across interdisciplinary teams and suppliers.

Designs, programs, debugs, and modifies firmware; conducts analyses and tests; troubleshoots firmware code; works with analog and digital hardware and software operating systems; programs in machine and assembly languages plus high-level languages; collaborates with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to deliver firmware solutions.

Design and validate electro-mechanical products to meet customer specifications. Create and release drawings and documentation, perform static/dynamic analysis and verification testing, support feasibility studies and prototyping, coordinate failure investigations, and work with cross-functional teams to execute product launches for production.

The Power Systems Design Engineer is responsible for designing power conversion equipment, conducting testing, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with teams on product specifications and development.

Perform electrical and mechanical failure analysis of circuits and components using techniques like SEM, X-ray and spectroscopy. Lead root-cause investigations (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA), process capability studies (Cp/Cpk), SPC/DOE, reliability testing, and product returns. Collaborate with process, quality, production, and suppliers to reduce failures, update documentation, and meet SLAs while maintaining productivity reports.

Lead and coordinate projects from initiation to close, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Define scope, create project plans, allocate resources, track progress, manage risks and change control, communicate status to stakeholders, and maintain client relationships.

Lead and coordinate a portfolio of projects through full lifecycles: plan scope, schedule, budgets, resources; manage risk, change, and stakeholder communication; produce status reporting; resolve escalated scope issues and drive program improvements to meet goals and customer satisfaction.
