Responsibilities include designing fault-tolerant infrastructure, managing Kubernetes and Docker environments, implementing Terraform and GitOps, improving observability, leading incident response and disaster recovery, and ensuring HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance. The role also sets technical strategy, reduces downtime through self-healing automation, and leads and mentors the SRE team.

Owns end-to-end deployment health for hospital customers, including field verification, deployment workflow improvement, stakeholder engagement, issue detection, and roadmap feedback. Travels to customer sites, collaborates with Professional Services, Customer Success, product, engineering, mobile, firmware, and hardware teams, and independently builds AI-assisted dashboards or tracking tools to monitor deployment quality and longevity.

Own the hardware product roadmap for beacons, badges, tags, gateways, and sensing devices. Define priorities and specifications, partner closely with engineering on BLE, firmware, battery, antenna, and field-performance issues, and manage Chinese manufacturing relationships. Lead factory visits, cost and timeline negotiations, NPI cycles, design revisions, and customer deployment feedback. The role requires shipping hardware, making decisions under uncertainty, and ensuring products perform reliably in healthcare environments.

Support the CEO by managing calendars, inboxes, travel, briefings, commitments, leadership meetings, board preparation, and confidential follow-through. Coordinate selected cross-functional projects and improve executive-office systems. Also oversee NYC office operations, visitors, supplies, team events, and offsite logistics while maintaining discretion, organization, and responsiveness in a fast-changing environment.
