Assistant Director of Sales supporting W Rome’s sales strategy and Director of Sales & Marketing. The role develops corporate, group, entertainment, luxury travel, and lifestyle business; manages prospecting, client relationships, presentations, negotiations, contracts, forecasting, and account handover. It partners with revenue management and hotel departments to maximize profitability and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Previous upscale or luxury hotel sales experience, strong commercial and negotiation skills, fluency in English and Italian, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems are required.

Provide HR administrative and employee relations support: track and resolve issues, assist management with hiring, training, coaching, and discipline, ensure compliance with laws and company policies, maintain employee records (including I-9s), handle HR inquiries, schedule surveys, and perform general front-desk and clerical duties.

Provide daily HR support for a hotel property including recruiting and hiring, benefits and unemployment claim management, new-hire orientation and training, employee relations and progressive discipline, compliance and records management, safety and workers' compensation oversight, and partnership with vendors and property leadership to deliver HR services.

Audit and reconcile daily revenue postings, prepare and maintain financial and payroll reports, secure and control cash, manage filing and document retention, ensure accuracy of computerized financial records, follow company safety/privacy policies, and provide professional guest-facing communication as needed.

Lead cobrand credit card product marketing and loyalty initiatives: design and deploy spend campaigns, manage cardmember communications, benefits fulfillment, events, and partner with banks, Loyalty, Finance, and New Product Development to drive engagement and share of wallet.
