Summer 2027 Controls Engineer Intern working on engineering projects at Zeeco’s Tulsa headquarters. The role provides hands-on experience with Zeeco equipment, system designs, control systems, and combustion technologies, along with training, collaboration with experienced engineers, customer service exposure, community outreach, and potential international travel.

Supports the Corporate Counsel team through legal research, writing, correspondence, and work across sales contracts, intellectual property, privacy, human resources, and litigation. Assists with internal business support, vendor and customer negotiations, and research projects under the supervision of Zeeco attorneys while gaining experience across multiple legal practice areas.

Support employee relations, HR compliance, presentations, reporting, and departmental HR activities. Designs and specifies Vapor Control equipment based on customer requirements, develops technical proposals and cost estimates, sets pricing, coordinates quotation drawings, and manages customer communications through negotiation and award. Provides technical risk assessments, site support, proposal status reports, and sales presentation materials. The role requires extensive travel, including approximately 75% domestic and 25% international travel, typically one to two weeks per month.

Provide technical sales support for Zeeco combustion products: build client relationships, identify and pursue sales opportunities, assist commissioning/startup/troubleshooting, develop scopes, follow up on quotes, and support reps and product improvement efforts.

Prepare and evaluate vendor enquiries and quotations, estimate fabrication, engineering, and erection man-hours; develop commercial estimates, cost databases, and WBS budgets; coordinate with proposals, engineering, procurement, construction, finance and projects; monitor material price trends, support post-order budgeting, and participate in cost reviews and order transfer meetings.

The Applications Engineer manages proposals, analyzes customer needs, creates cost estimates, and coordinates drawings, while ensuring technical accuracy and effective communication.

The Senior Combustion Engineer will diagnose fired equipment issues, recommend maintenance, support commissioning activities, and engage in customer relations to ensure operational compliance.
