The Senior Software Engineer for the Treasury team will develop backend services for fund management, ensuring system reliability and leading projects in a fast-paced environment.

Lead the Treasury team to develop and maintain backend services ensuring reliability in financial transactions, while implementing features and improving systems.

Build and maintain reliable, secure, scalable backend systems for Lithic’s product platform. Own projects end to end across API key management, reliability, audit logging, search, and API infrastructure. Improve system reliability, reduce technical debt, participate in on-call rotations, and lead team process improvements while collaborating asynchronously across time zones.

Designs and delivers technical solutions for fintech and enterprise clients using Lithic’s card-issuing platform. Responsibilities include leading technical discovery, designing API integrations, guiding authorization and transaction-processing workflows, reviewing implementations, supporting pre-sales, managing client relationships through implementation and optimization, and collaborating with Product, Engineering, bank partners, and compliance teams. The role also involves documenting reusable solutions and mentoring junior team members.

Owns daily operations for Lithic’s Program Management business line, including processes, tooling, reporting, cross-functional coordination, and operational improvements. Leads projects involving Risk, Compliance, Bank Operations, Legal, Sales, Product, and external partners. Builds repeatable workflows, metrics, documentation, and automation while supporting new bank partnerships, product constructs, and managed-service offerings.

Own and improve Lithic's AML transaction monitoring program: maintain SOPs, tune alert logic and agentic/AI tooling, investigate complex suspicious activity and file SARs/UARs, supervise and quality-check reviews, produce KPIs and governance materials, and train/mentor analysts.

Own customer support tickets end-to-end for a card-issuing platform: triage, debug production APIs and authorizer behavior, query Snowflake, check Grafana/Loki, use internal tooling (Retool, Metabase), surface recurring issues to Product/Engineering, maintain SLAs and knowledgebase (Notion), and build/update internal tools.
