Designs and builds backend infrastructure for Workday’s AI agents, including RAG pipelines, vector search, semantic layers, query federation, knowledge graphs, and LLM orchestration. The role focuses on scalable distributed systems, secure enterprise data access, low-latency retrieval, and context management. Responsibilities include architecture, coding, deployment, performance optimization, security guardrails, and technical leadership through mentoring and design reviews.

Lead product strategy and delivery for developer platform core services, including scalable backend infrastructure, distributed systems, APIs, application lifecycle management, telemetry, and AI workflows. Own the infrastructure roadmap, coordinate multiple engineering teams, guide architectural and governance decisions, define reliability and adoption metrics, and advocate for platform capabilities with developers, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Lead discovery and delivery for developer productivity tooling: define roadmap, translate developer pain points into specifications, prioritize features, collaborate with engineering and automation teams, and deliver product demos and stakeholder communications within an Agile Scrum environment.

Leads the vision, architecture, and delivery of Workday’s AI intelligence layer.
