KLFY-TV seeks fall interns to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced digital and broadcast newsroom. Interns will develop media and digital journalism skills through daily assignments, learning industry and organizational practices. Positions are for college credit and limited duration.

Produce and stack the 6PM newscast with strong editorial voice and visual storytelling. Collaborate with newsroom staff, write and edit scripts, respond to breaking news, adjust rundowns, and contribute story ideas in editorial meetings.

The Sales Account Executive generates revenue by establishing relationships, customizing marketing campaigns, and managing accounts while achieving sales goals.

Shoot and gather video and sound to produce compelling visual news stories on deadline. Operate and maintain station gear, vehicle, Dejero live equipment, and editing tools (Adobe Premiere). Work nights/weekends, collaborate with reporters and producers, follow legal and ethical newsgathering standards, and adapt quickly for breaking news and social media content.

Produce daily enterprise and breaking news stories: research, vet tips, conduct interviews, shoot and edit video packages, write copy, engage audiences on social media, and represent the station at events.

Lead digital newsroom strategy and manage the digital/assignment desk. Supervise digital producers, oversee streaming and platform-specific content, drive audience growth across web, app, OTT/CTV and social, and ensure timely, accurate digital-first coverage.
