Lead enterprise data and AI architecture strategy, governance, and modernization. Establish standards and guardrails for data platforms, analytics, AI/ML and generative AI. Partner with risk, legal, cybersecurity and business leaders, oversee architecture reviews, drive cloud migrations, and develop a team of senior architects to ensure secure, scalable, and governed data and AI capabilities.

Provide paralegal support for estate, business, and charitable planning: review and summarize documents, create flowcharts and PowerPoints, maintain electronic case files, coordinate with attorneys/CPAs/advisors, schedule meetings, perform light legal research, and manage timelines and client communications.

Supervise and review securities, insurance, email and social media correspondence for compliance with firm policies and regulations. Provide practice management consulting and escalation support to field leaders and advisors, triage Level 1-3 requests, serve as subject-matter expert on practice management topics, lead content and project delivery, coordinate external partners, drive strategy and communications, and deliver presentations and training while improving consulting quality and client experience.

Lead analytics for the Risk Product team: analyze data, build KPI frameworks, dashboards, forecasts, and reports; translate insights into recommendations; partner with stakeholders; perform root-cause analysis and support continuous improvement to inform strategic decisions.

Advise Financial Advisors on compliant team compensation and incentive plans; lead complex compensation conversations; align Home Office, Field Supervision, and Legal; develop policies, training, resources; identify risks and process improvements; present to network offices.

Provide expert consultation on complex financial services compliance and supervision matters. Analyze issues, support solution design, drive consistent execution across field offices, deliver targeted training, and contribute to policy and process improvements. Partner with compliance, supervision, and business stakeholders to support annual compliance initiatives and transaction reviews.

Provide legal advice and transaction support for Northwestern Mutual's 720 East CLO platform and general account investments. Review offering memorandums, indentures, engagement and warehouse agreements, collateral management and control agreements; handle amendments, restructurings, bankruptcies, realizations, regulatory matters, and liability management. Collaborate across teams, offer practical legal solutions, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced in-house environment.

Provide compliance and supervision consultation to field leadership and representatives, perform on-site inspections and reviews per FINRA, conduct interviews and file reviews, document findings, train and educate staff, support remediation and risk management plans, and act as subject-matter expert on divisional and enterprise compliance projects.

Provide legal counsel on design, implementation, and administration of employee benefit programs (retirement, health, welfare), ensuring ERISA and tax compliance; draft and review plan documents and filings; identify and mitigate legal risks; support employment law matters (wage/hour, leave, investigations, terminations, restrictive covenants); collaborate with HR and other legal specialists; monitor regulatory developments.
