Designs and develops automotive interior components and modules, including instrument panels, floor consoles, door trims, and hard or soft interior trim. Creates 3D models and 2D drawings in CATIA V5, applies design-for-manufacturing and assembly principles, defines joinery and assembly sequences, and addresses packaging, interfaces, materials, tolerances, gaps, steps, colors, and textures. Create and maintain APQP documentation (DVP&R, DFMEA), define sourcing docs, maintain CTDS, support CAE/FEA, testing, manufacturing, quality, and supplier launch activities. Provide detailed mechanical engineering work, progress reporting, benchmarking, and cross-functional collaboration with AME, design studio, and global teams.

Supports financial planning, month-end and year-end close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, working capital tracking, financial modeling, internal controls, process improvement, and audit activities. The role collaborates with departments to coordinate budgets, monitor financial and operational performance, ensure accounting compliance, and support management decision-making.

Coordinates warehouse activities, shipping and receiving, material handling, team training, safety inspections, documentation, expedites, inventory shortages, and continuous improvement. Ensures employees follow warehouse procedures, 5S practices, quality and environmental standards, and equipment safety requirements. Reviews warehouse performance indicators, supports supplier and customer requests, and provides input to employee performance reviews.

Leads the design, development, validation, optimization, and lifecycle management of complex automotive tooling, including molds, dies, fixtures, and specialized equipment. Coordinates tryouts, engineering changes, supplier validation, tooling investments, launch support, and critical production troubleshooting. The role improves scrap, defects, cycle time, manufacturability, durability, and tooling reliability while applying GD&T, formability analysis, CNC manufacturing knowledge, stamping processes, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.

Manages manufacturing engineering activities across equipment launches, process design, commissioning, change management, technology integration, and continuous improvement. Leads engineering teams, budgets, staffing, training, supplier and integrator selection, performance management, and customer delivery requirements. Ensures compliance with APQP, TS16949, ISO14001, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies while supporting production performance, quality, cost reduction, and employee development.

Provides technical documentation, data analysis, reporting, and coordination support for manufacturing engineering. Maintains standardized work, PFMEAs, control plans, process flows, visual aids, and training materials; tracks revisions, approvals, engineering changes, projects, and corrective actions. Collects manufacturing and quality data, prepares dashboards and engineering metrics, and assists with audits, trials, time studies, launches, and continuous-improvement activities. Collaborates across engineering, quality, production, maintenance, and training teams in office and plant environments.

Leads Body in White vehicle engineering and design release activities from development through production. Responsibilities include CAD and CAE data release, subsystem design, benchmarking, target achievement, regulatory compliance, DVP&R and DFMEA review, production feasibility, supplier coordination, global milestone meetings, complex problem solving, and technical team development. The role supports complete vehicle launches and ensures designs meet performance, cost, quality, timing, safety, and manufacturing requirements.
