Provides process tuning, remote customer support, and field assistance to SPTS teams. The role requires alternating weekly shifts, occasional weekend work, and some international travel at the Newport manufacturing facility.

Requires optical laboratory experience, mechanical integration, Python or MATLAB scripting, Zemax modeling, thin-film coating knowledge, cleanroom work, and data collection using cameras and power meters. The role also involves optical tolerancing, image processing, vendor coordination, CAD review, and communicating technical findings within a collaborative team.
