The Senior Software Engineer will develop next-gen wafer inspection tools, manage the software lifecycle, participate in design reviews, and troubleshoot products at customer sites. Responsibilities include multi-threading programming, GUI design with .NET, and collaboration across teams.

As a Product Install Engineer, you will install and validate advanced semiconductor tools, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure customer satisfaction across Europe.

This role involves improving semiconductor optical systems, developing training material, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring product stability and serviceability.

Design and improve electron-beam imaging products and subsystems (electron optics, detectors, HV, vacuum, wafer handling). Specify SW/Algo/HW requirements, perform experiments, modeling, data analysis, characterize and integrate products, and provide high-travel on-site customer support and training.

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver semiconductor metrology products from definition through pilot, high-volume manufacturing, and sustainment. Own program delivery across engineering, manufacturing, service, installation, and customer engagement while managing risk, schedules, resources, and product roadmaps.

Design, integrate, test, and optimise PVD semiconductor hardware. Support build, installation, commissioning and validation of prototype and production systems. Troubleshoot equipment, work with process engineers to improve reliability and performance, maintain engineering documentation, and collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing through development to customer-ready products.

Coordinate production planning across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering. Perform capacity analysis, manage BOM critical paths and work orders, reconcile material availability against production plans, identify supply risks, ensure inventory accuracy via cycle counts, drive mitigation and continuous improvement, and communicate engineering changes to manufacturing.

Design and debug high-speed PCBAs (FPGA, SERDES, PCIe), develop schematics and direct PCB layout, characterize components and stack-ups, create and run lab test plans, build qualification fixtures, integrate subsystems, and mentor junior engineers.

Design and develop PCBA solutions: define requirements, prototype analog front-end and FPGA circuits, create schematics, coordinate PCB layout, perform lab debugging and testing, and release documentation for production while collaborating with cross-functional global teams.

Provide technical applications support for KLA reticle and photomask inspection systems including acceptance testing, customer training, recipe setup, alpha/beta testing, pre-sales support, escalation management, and post-installation technical follow-up. Create BKM, project summaries, customer use-case documents and product value pitches. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product divisions to implement and improve inspection solutions. Travel to customer sites required.
