Leads finite element analysis and simulation for industrial valve components and assemblies. Performs linear and nonlinear structural, thermal, fatigue, wear, sealing, and fluid-structure interaction analyses. Applies advanced material models, optimization, and automation to improve structural integrity, manufacturability, sealing, and cost. Ensures compliance with ASME, API, ISO, and PED standards, validates models against testing, supports root cause investigations, and owns project delivery, resources, schedules, and customer expectations.

Performs linear and nonlinear FEA of industrial valve components and assemblies, including stress, fatigue, thermal, contact, sealing, and pressure-boundary analyses. Evaluates performance in high-pressure, high-temperature, and corrosive environments, supports CFD-FEA coupling, correlates simulations with tests, and recommends improvements to integrity, sealing, manufacturability, and cost. Ensures compliance with ASME, API, ISO, and PED standards, supports root-cause investigations, and develops simulation validation methods.

Leads innovation and development of high-performance butterfly valve technologies from customer requirements through design, validation, and production. Serves as a mechanical design subject matter expert, develops product concepts, establishes engineering best practices, mentors engineers, and collaborates with testing, simulation, materials, marketing, and supply chain teams. Applies advanced manufacturing, design verification, quality, and international valve standards while supporting strategic initiatives and global projects.

Develops and maintains accurate technical documentation for industrial automation software and hardware. Responsibilities include researching product information, designing document structures, writing task-specific instructions and reference materials, collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams, managing DITA CMS content, coordinating reviews and approvals, and tracking documentation deliverables through product releases.

Owns project documentation from award through final submission, including document tracking, transmittals, portal uploads, technical document reviews, customer feedback resolution, status reporting, and final Manufacturing Record Book or data book preparation. The role coordinates with engineering, quality, factories, project managers, and customers to secure timely approvals while following EHS policies.
