Supports manufacturing process engineering through process design, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, equipment implementation, process controls, statistical analysis, documentation, training, yield and productivity improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives. Collaborates with production and engineering stakeholders to introduce and transfer new processes while maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and throughput.

Manages product transfers, new product setup, engineering changes, and manufacturing support. Reviews customer documentation, BOMs, drawings, and CAD models; performs DFM, tolerance analysis, DOE, and failure analysis; resolves production and design issues; improves quality and yield; supports supply chain localization; ensures safety and regulatory compliance; and trains manufacturing engineers.

The Process Engineer improves manufacturing processes for cost, quality, delivery, productivity, and throughput. Responsibilities include defining manufacturable designs, identifying root causes, troubleshooting production issues, establishing process controls and parameters, implementing equipment and engineering changes, supporting technology transfers, maintaining documentation, training production staff, and leading continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Performs preventive and corrective maintenance, programming, troubleshooting, and technical support for automated production equipment. Reads electrical diagrams and schematics, diagnoses automation failures, supports production lines, and works with pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, sensor, PLC, machine vision, robot, and measurement systems. Uses Python and potentially TestStand and LabVIEW while collaborating under pressure to resolve equipment issues.

The Process Engineer supports manufacturing improvements in cost, quality, delivery, throughput, and productivity. Responsibilities include developing and validating manufacturing processes, identifying root causes, implementing process controls, managing equipment and engineering changes, improving cycle time, selecting materials, maintaining documentation, supporting technology transfers, training production staff, and leading cost-reduction initiatives.

Conduct ICT and FCT testing to verify product quality and reliability. Troubleshoot product issues with cross-functional teams, document test results, create performance reports, and help develop test strategies, tools, and processes. Support product validation and New Product Introduction activities, ensuring new products meet performance and quality standards.

Supports site HR programs and advises managers on talent, employee relations, labor law, recruiting, workforce planning, performance, compensation, benefits, and organizational development. Manages employee lifecycle activities, investigations, policy compliance, engagement and retention initiatives, HR records, local recruitment programs, and employee communications. Partners with management and HR centers of excellence on business, culture, sustainability, and process improvement initiatives.

Leads quality engineering activities for SMT and electronic manufacturing, including customer, internal, and regulatory audits; corrective action processes; design quality assurance; supplier quality; and cross-functional problem resolution. The role interfaces with customers, vendors, engineers, and management to improve product quality, manufacturing performance, and compliance while leading quality initiatives and teams.

Leads employer branding initiatives across LATAM to strengthen Flex’s reputation as an employer of choice, attract talent, and support workplace culture. Responsibilities include developing regional branding strategies, creating multimedia content, conducting market research, collaborating with HR, recruitment, marketing, and leadership, organizing talent events, and reporting on campaign effectiveness. Requires marketing, HR, communications, or related experience, strong English writing skills, content creation capabilities, and project management expertise.

Diagnoses functional-level failures in electronic units, documents and analyzes failure reports, and uses oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and voltage sources. Requires knowledge of digital and analog electronics, telecommunications, and functional-unit diagnostics. English is preferred. The role is based onsite in Guadalajara Norte and supports production engineering activities.
