Work directly with insurers, brokers and MGAs to design, scope and implement rules-driven automation and workflows on the Whitespace platform. Translate business requirements into configurable solutions, validate outputs, support testing and releases, run workshops, deliver training, and collaborate with Product, Delivery and Engineering to drive adoption and improvements.

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-hosted SaaS web applications for insurance/reinsurance. Build responsive front ends with Angular/TypeScript, develop RESTful APIs in Python/FastAPI, support databases (SQL/NoSQL), create UI automation tests, troubleshoot issues, and incorporate AI to accelerate development and deliver AI-driven features.

Design, build and maintain ETL, migration and reconciliation solutions to resolve data quality issues across SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments. Support production databases, contribute to database design, performance, security, backups and compliance, and work within the SDLC using Git, JIRA and CI/CD pipelines during a major migration and modernisation programme.

Lead a distributed infrastructure team to design, operate, and modernize AWS-based platforms (GRiD, DataX, GRiD2). Own platform resilience, multi-region architecture, disaster recovery, IaC (CDK/OpenTofu), security (IAM, OIDC), and support migration to GRiD2. Provide hands-on technical leadership: code reviews, troubleshooting, prototyping, developer tooling, and mentoring while contributing to on-call/support rota and cross-team collaboration.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate AWS deployments and cloud environment setup, troubleshoot servers and production outages, monitor and stabilize production, support developer tooling, and implement automation to improve reliability and performance.

Lead software implementation projects for insurance clients, managing planning, scope, timelines, budgets, risks, testing, client acceptance, stakeholder communications, and transition to operational support. Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage change requests and governance, and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices.

Develop and revise Commercial General Liability, Commercial Excess and Umbrella insurance products and policy language. Lead multistate filings, coordinate legal/actuarial/compliance reviews, present at panel meetings, engage clients, and collaborate on emerging-issue solutions and educational materials. Support product strategy and customer-focused research and analysis.

Provide client support and consulting for catastrophe modeling using Touchstone/Touchstone Re: troubleshoot software, run risk analyses, interpret model results, deliver reports, manage projects, mentor juniors, and maintain client relationships and quality standards.

Lead architecture, design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive best practices, write clean test-covered code, participate in reviews, troubleshoot issues, and adopt new technologies to improve analytical SaaS solutions.

Lead UX vision, strategy, and practice for a product pillar; manage and coach designers and researchers; conduct and direct research; build design systems and accessibility practices; partner with product, engineering, marketing, and customers to drive measurable UX outcomes across the claims lifecycle.
