Develops, maintains, troubleshoots, and improves automated production equipment for automotive seating manufacturing. Responsibilities include PLC ladder logic, HMI and I/O support, machine control documentation, equipment backups, preventive maintenance, data collection, root-cause analysis, error-proofing, continuous improvement, and equipment purchase specifications. The role diagnoses electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues while supporting plant reliability and production goals.

Maintains and troubleshoots automated manufacturing systems, including robots, PLCs, conveyors, vision systems, servos, pneumatics, electrical devices, and industrial networks. Performs preventive maintenance, responds to downtime, diagnoses faults, replaces and calibrates components, documents work in a CMMS, and supports root-cause and reliability improvements. The role also trains operators in basic troubleshooting and follows lockout/tagout, electrical, robot, and emergency-stop safety procedures.

Leads investor relations strategy, institutional investor and analyst engagement, quarterly earnings execution, disclosure workflows, market intelligence, financial analysis, IR technology platforms, and AI adoption. Partners with executives, Board members, Finance, Legal, Communications, IT, and vendors to communicate financial performance and strategy while maintaining SEC, Regulation FD, and disclosure compliance.

Plans and schedules material flow, production demand, inventory, shipments, and supplier releases to support on-time production and delivery. Coordinates with customers, purchasing, production, engineering, and suppliers; manages shortages, inventory parameters, service parts, customer portal requests, and new product launches. Leads continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives while supporting safety, compliance, and efficient plant operations.

Handle employee HR inquiries and transactions, including onboarding, leave management, and exit meetings. Maintain accurate HRIS data, guide employees and managers on policies and self-service tools, support events and HR projects, document procedures, prepare HR dashboards and scorecards, analyze root causes, identify performance gaps, and recommend process improvements.

Maintains and improves the plant Quality Management System, coordinates internal and certification audits, administers BOS and document control, manages quality reporting, trains personnel, and drives compliance with IATF 16949, customer requirements, and continuous improvement standards in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Manage plant financial planning, monthly outlooks, variance analysis, profitability, cost control, capital investments, cash flow, and financial reporting. Support continuous improvement initiatives, business cases, quoting, new program launches, internal controls, SOX compliance, audits, and statutory submissions. Develop financial models and simulations, coordinate departmental metrics, and partner with manufacturing, commercial, and finance teams.

Performs standard product engineering assignments as part of larger projects, selects engineering techniques to solve problems, and makes recommendations. Requires a university degree or equivalent education and experience, with six years of suggested minimum experience.

Supports manufacturing quality assurance by analyzing production data, conducting audits and capability studies, developing inspection, control, and containment plans, and driving corrective and preventive actions. The role manages PPAP submissions, PFMEA and control plan updates, customer-specific quality requirements, 8-D reports, quality alerts, and root-cause analysis. It also communicates with external customers, supports continuous improvement, and mentors team members on statistical methods.

Provides plant-level technical leadership for automated manufacturing systems, including automation standards, controls architecture, capital project execution, vendor management, commissioning, launch readiness, performance improvement, safety, and lifecycle governance. Reviews PLC, HMI, robotics, vision, networking, and machine-safety solutions while coordinating suppliers and cross-functional teams. Uses OEE and reliability metrics to drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and replication of proven automation systems.
