Lead annuity wholesaling across the Pacific NW (OR, WA, ID, MT, AK) by developing business plans, training and motivating internal wholesalers, building advisor relationships across banks/wirehouses/independent channels, executing regional sales strategies, and meeting activity and sales goals.

Analyze competitors’ annuity products, rates, services, sales strategies, technology partnerships, and operational capabilities. Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, win-loss evaluations, and ad hoc investigations. Develop competitive intelligence programs, product battlecards, comparisons, reports, presentations, and dashboards. Communate actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders while collaborating with market research and cross-functional teams.

Prepare and analyze financial results for life insurance and annuity products, produce segment reporting and disclosures, support quarterly close, maintain controls, partner with accounting/FP&A/actuarial teams, handle journal entries and audits, and drive process improvements.

Serve as strategic relationship lead for financial institution, bank, and wirehouse partners to deepen executive partnerships, drive revenue growth, manage shelf placement and product positioning, coordinate cross-functional execution, resolve escalations, and lead account governance, business reviews, and strategic initiatives to deliver measurable outcomes.

Execute GRC and cyber risk functions: perform risk and third‑party assessments using NIST/SOC2/CIS, analyze vulnerabilities, run security awareness programs, produce GRC metrics/dashboards, support policy and audit readiness, and optimize GRC tooling and processes.

Provide legal support for the company's commercial mortgage lending investments: draft, review, negotiate, and close loan documents; review title and due diligence; manage portfolio documentation and modifications; advise the Investment Department on policy and regulatory matters; coordinate with outside counsel; and manage/train legal support staff.

Dispatch inbound orders to production, create and manage purchase and sales orders, maintain inventory levels and cycle counts, support shipping and invoicing, coordinate with vendors, accounting, and internal teams, and perform physical receiving, stocking, and internal deliveries.

Manage and respond to regulatory inquiries and examinations for insurance affiliates. Coordinate with internal partners and counsel, research laws/regulations, prepare timely responses, identify market conduct risks, support compliance program development, and maintain regulatory reporting and trends. Act as liaison between regulators and business units to ensure accurate, defensible submissions and remediation where needed.

Evaluate and underwrite complex, high-face-amount individual life insurance cases (often $5M+), assess medical/financial risks, provide second-signature support, mentor junior underwriters, manage relationships with independent agents/BGAs, and maintain service and quality standards.

Drive annuity sales by developing and executing regional business plans, cultivating relationships with banks, wirehouses and independent advisors, leading internal wholesalers, meeting activity and sales goals, and advocating corporate objectives to grow territory production.
