Own aircraft thermal systems engineering for a Group 5 UAV fighter, including thermal analysis, CFD modeling, cooling-system design, CAD layouts, vehicle integration, testing, supplier execution, and qualification. Own fluid-system layouts, thermal transport hardware, and mechanical installations for Group 5 UAV aircraft. Perform fluid and thermal sizing, modeling, component selection, CAD design, vehicle integration, failure analysis, supplier execution, prototype assembly, and qualification testing. Develop production-ready hardware supporting MIL-STD-810 qualification and MIL-HDBK-516 airworthiness certification.

Owns architecture, design, integration, qualification, and production transition for aircraft actuation systems and mechanisms on a Group 5 UAV fighter. Responsibilities include actuator sizing and selection, requirements and verification, redundancy and failure analysis, power and thermal integration, supplier execution, qualification testing, airworthiness certification support, and technical reviews. The role requires hands-on aerospace engineering experience with electric or hydraulic actuation and multidisciplinary systems integration.

Designs and produces proposal documents, presentations, graphics, infographics, and bid materials. Translates complex technical information into clear visual stories, maintains templates and design systems, coordinates document production and quality checks, tracks revisions and submission requirements, and supports final digital and print delivery. Collaborates with proposal managers, business development teams, and technical experts while improving production workflows and supporting customer-facing materials.

Develops and improves aerospace suppliers producing harness assemblies and electronic components. Leads supplier onboarding, new-product industrialization, process capability, quality, capacity, and delivery improvements across engineering teams and contract manufacturers. Mechanical Engineering Intern will design, prototype, and validate test stands, tooling, and fixtures for autonomous UAV components and subsystems. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, environmental test equipment design, facilities specification, and cross-functional design reviews. The intern will support mechanical development for X-BAT and V-BAT aircraft while contributing to improved testing processes.

Own engine calibration and performance for reciprocating engines powering the V-BAT platform. Define and execute dynamometer, bench, and flight-test plans; tune ECU fuel mapping, ignition timing, and injector phasing; analyze torque, power, and fuel-consumption data; troubleshoot engine test issues; validate performance against requirements; and support propulsion modeling, calibration documentation, design reviews, and cross-functional engineering decisions.

Owns propulsion engine calibration and performance for V-BAT reciprocating engines. Defines test plans, tunes ECUs, analyzes torque, power, speed, and fuel consumption, troubleshoots engine tests, interprets bench and flight data, supports performance modeling, and represents calibration decisions in technical reviews. The role requires hands-on piston-engine experience, fuel injection and ECU calibration expertise, and collaboration across propulsion, controls, design, production, and flight-test teams.
