Own the vision, roadmap, and operations for Motive’s merchant partnership and shop network across fuel, maintenance, and fleet spending. Develop technical partner relationships, expand payment and settlement integrations, unlock bulk fuel partnerships, and drive international adoption. Lead executive-level partnerships, business reviews, metrics, product documentation, and cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, and GTM to increase in-network transaction share and strategic partner transaction volume.

The role also includes defining team direction, mentoring engineers, and driving adoption through collaboration, demos, and technical sessions.

Improve system performance, reliability, testing, and software delivery across SaaS, mobile, and embedded products. Mentor engineers, facilitate collaboration, and promote engineering best practices across the organization.

Lead the direction and development of developer productivity platforms, including automated CI/CD, bootstrapping, testing, release pipelines, infrastructure, and local development environments. Build scalable, secure, self-healing systems across SaaS, mobile, and embedded products; improve reliability and developer experience; promote self-service engineering practices; and mentor engineers through collaboration, demos, and technical guidance.

Lead end-to-end COGS and gross margin analysis for hardware and software products, model cost-saving scenarios, answer ambiguous executive questions, partner with data engineering/finance/product, build reliable datasets and analytical frameworks, and present recommendations to C-suite stakeholders.

Provide sales and customer success support through data-driven presentations, business cases, and customer value analyses. Analyze client data and external research to identify business problems, quantify Motive’s value, and create compelling presentations for technical and non-technical audiences. Build professional spreadsheets, use data visualization tools, and adapt analyses to changing customer, product, and market needs.

Owns Motive’s full-funnel B2B content strategy, including thought leadership, research, customer stories, executive content, and long-form editorial. Leads programs from opportunity identification through production, distribution, optimization, and measurement. Partners with marketing, sales, communications, SEO, brand, customer, and executive teams to align content with audience, brand, pipeline, and enterprise buying goals. Builds scalable, AI-enabled content processes and establishes editorial standards.

Produces and publishes B2B blog content covering customer stories, industries, product features, SEO, and AEO. Supports cross-functional content programs, develops AI-assisted workflows, contributes to content planning, and tracks performance to improve future production. The role requires strong research and writing skills, organization, collaboration, comfort with data, and interest in improving content operations. It is based in the Austin area with two office days per week.

Lead and scale analyst relations strategy to drive analyst engagement and favorable placements. Build relationships with major analyst firms, prepare executive briefings, manage evaluations (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC), turn analyst feedback into actionable messaging/product recommendations, enable sales with analyst insights, and measure program impact.
