Senior Software Engineer responsible for creating, designing, coding, debugging, maintaining, testing, implementing, and validating complex Android applications. Must have a broad understanding of various languages and architectures. Works throughout the software development life cycle and recommends changes in development and maintenance standards. Excels in communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, and teamwork. Responsible for technical design, work plans, development delivery, code reviews, and mentoring.

Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, SMS, and Chat to provide problem resolution, maintain knowledge of products and services, analyze customer needs, and escalate unresolved issues.

This position provides support to the Canadian sales teams for the boarding of new business and the maintenance and upgrade of existing large merchant rollout initiatives. Preference for candidates in the greater Toronto or Montreal regions who can work on a hybrid model of 2 days per week in the office.

Leads the planning and rollout of assigned products through ownership of product concepts, roadmaps, and prioritization with delivery teams. Responsible for ensuring the product development effort is concentrated on the right priorities based on business value. Works with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into technology solutions and drive product design and direction. Manages product backlog, release plan, and collaborates with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

Design and develop payment-related applications on POS terminals using Android OS. Mentor other developers, stay abreast of Android technology changes, and ensure code quality and security. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required with at least 3 years of software development experience and 2+ years in Android Java and Javascript development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent communication skills in English are necessary for this position.

Install, configure, maintain, support, and secure the organization's network communications, including LANs and/or WANs. Identify network problems, isolate root causes, and initiate corrective action. Provide technical analysis to customers to isolate issues and develop strategies to restore or activate services. Collaborate with technical teams to deliver overall network solutions.

Design, develop, test, and release software to consumers. Apply Release Engineering best practices to make development cycles shorter and continuously deliver high-quality software. Integrate daily DevOps tasks involved in development, quality control, deployment, and integration of software into a single, continuous set of processes.
