Configure, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC-based controls, electrical systems, HMIs, servo drives, and manufacturing equipment. Diagnose production issues, improve processes, integrate new technologies, and coordinate controls projects with manufacturing, maintenance, quality teams, OEMs, and other resources. The role supports an onsite, high-volume manufacturing facility and requires overtime and off-shift production support.

Drive requirements, roadmaps, customer research, cross-functional execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and tradeoff decisions across design, engineering, program management, and vehicle teams.

Develop embedded control software for high-voltage battery systems, including contactors, energy management, diagnostics, communications, and safety compliance. Design, test, document, and validate software across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, controllers, and vehicles. Apply C/C++, AUTOSAR, CI/CD, Agile, BDD/TDD, and DevOps practices while collaborating across systems, safety, validation, calibration, and vehicle-performance teams. Lead Scrum team members and develop AI-driven diagnostics and predictive analytics.

Leads dimensional quality performance across automotive manufacturing and vehicle launch programs. Analyzes CMM, laser-scanning, supplier, and production data; identifies root causes; improves process capability; develops control and measurement plans; validates tooling and measurement systems; and resolves dimensional risks with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Leads architecture and development of low-voltage battery management and sensing software for automotive systems. Provides technical leadership, mentors engineers, drives process improvements, collaborates cross-functionally, resolves complex technical issues, contributes to enterprise data architecture, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.

Leads manufacturing engineering for General Assembly and Final Assembly zones, including process development, automation, tooling, equipment projects, production launches, validation, and continuous improvement. Coordinates with engineering, operations, quality, maintenance, suppliers, and cross-functional teams; provides technical leadership through equipment commissioning and launch readiness. Requires extensive manufacturing and launch experience, complex project leadership, coaching capability, and frequent international and domestic travel of approximately 70–75%.

Supports autonomous-vehicle fleet reliability by monitoring vehicle health, investigating failures, performing root-cause analysis, and driving corrective actions through closure. Partners with technicians, operations, and engineering teams to improve uptime, readiness, repair quality, and return-to-service performance. Analyzes work-order, telemetry, incident, and operational data; maintains reliability reports and failure tracking; supports fleet updates, retrofits, testing, and change control; and develops standard work and troubleshooting guidance in a safety-critical operational environment.

Develop backend services, APIs, automation tools, and CI/CD workflows for virtual ECUs, software-in-the-loop simulation, orchestration, and AI-enhanced validation. Integrate simulation and AI/ML components, optimize compute-intensive workloads, manage artifacts and metadata, and collaborate with DevOps and simulation teams. The role requires software development experience with embedded or simulation systems, cloud and distributed systems knowledge, CLI and MCP architectures, and database experience.

Lead design, integration, and troubleshooting of ECU boot software for new controller architectures. Own bootloader strategy, flash partitioning, programming flows (manufacturing, OTA), root-cause analysis, and cross-team coordination to ensure secure, reliable startup and update processes. Mentor engineers and define reusable boot/BSW integration standards.
