Coordinates import air and ocean shipments, customs documentation, clearance advances, freight delivery, entry preparation, shipment tracking, proof of delivery, billing, profit determination, and process maintenance. Provides customer service, works with freight forwarders, expedites shipments, and ensures compliance with U.S. Federal regulations.

Supervise daily customs and international trade operations, leading 15–20 employees, coordinating client service, tariff classification, import/export documentation, billing support, and customs compliance across Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Liaise with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and operations teams, monitor workloads and KPIs, assign tasks, conduct meetings, support evaluations, and train staff. The role also handles escalated customer issues, supports process improvements, maintains regulatory knowledge, and fulfills occasional on-call and travel responsibilities.

Manages strategic national accounts as the primary client contact, coordinating internal teams, resolving issues, improving customer satisfaction, and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Responsibilities include account transitions, CRM automation, process improvement, client reporting, contract coordination, RFQs, RFIs, RFPs, and approximately 25% customer travel. Requires extensive customs brokerage experience and experience managing large or national accounts.

Oversees more than 20 employees, conducts evaluations, hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
