Designs and develops solid rocket motors from high-level thrust and burn-time requirements through detailed grain and nozzle designs. Optimizes burn rates, thrust curves, and pressure profiles; leads static-fire testing and ground prototyping; analyzes motor and propellant data; oversees casting and curing processes; and reviews tooling designs. Collaborates with design, analysis, chemistry, manufacturing, and product teams while producing technical documentation and supporting strategic research.

Creates cost estimates for business proposals by reviewing scopes, specifications, requirements, historical pricing, labor, materials, equipment, and services. Develops itemized estimates using established methodologies, mathematical models, benchmark data, and estimating tools. The role follows established procedures with limited autonomy and requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational and communication skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Develops and implements testing methods, procedures, equipment, and process improvements to validate products against design requirements and industry standards. Manages testing projects, analyzes complex test cases, supports system integration, resolves testing issues, and drives corrective actions. Collaborates with engineering teams, suppliers, and program representatives while mentoring technicians and junior engineers. Requires independent judgment, quality control expertise, and proficiency with specialized test systems and data acquisition equipment.

Manages financial operations including accounting, budgeting, credit, tax, treasury, cash flow, financial reporting, and compliance. Oversees budget development, advises management on financial regulations, establishes controls, and leads finance employees. Requires an associate degree with 7–8 years of experience or equivalent qualifications; a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance is preferred. Up to 25% travel is likely.

Provides comprehensive legal counsel on commercial transactions, government contracts, regulatory compliance, disputes, investigations, and organizational risk. Advises senior leadership, drafts and negotiates complex agreements, manages outside counsel, develops policies and legal processes, and ensures compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, FCPA, privacy rules, and other applicable laws. Requires a J.D., state bar membership, and 10–12 years of experience, preferably including in-house and government contracts work.

Leads and coordinates engineering projects from planning through completion, managing schedules, budgets, staffing, resources, technical quality, and project performance. Performs engineering design evaluations, prepares specifications, reviews production and maintenance issues, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides technical support. Develops operational plans, forecasts, and progress reports while resolving issues and coordinating internal teams and external contractors.

Designs and develops tooling, fixtures, jigs, gauges, cutting tools, carts, racks, and machinery for manufacturing. Reviews requirements, creates CAD models and documentation, develops testing plans, estimates costs and materials, evaluates tool performance, and may support sourcing and procurement. Collaborates with plant and manufacturing personnel to determine specifications and improve production quality and efficiency.

Analyzes high-volume business data to support decision-making, improve organizational efficiency, identify trends, and diagnose business problems. Integrates data from multiple sources, ensures data accuracy, performs statistical analysis, writes queries and reports, and creates visualizations using business intelligence tools. Provides insights and process improvement recommendations while mentoring less experienced team members.
