Performs process design for plant development projects, develops processes and control features, prepares equipment specifications and operator manuals, supports process safety reviews and proposals, and communicates designs with clients and other engineering disciplines. May provide technical guidance to junior staff and visit operating plants or construction sites to gather data and assess equipment.

Supports annual marketing and communications plans, corporate events, tradeshows, sponsorships, campaigns, and brand initiatives. Manages event logistics, vendors, budgets, registrations, content, social media, email campaigns, collateral, and post-event reporting. Performs instrument engineering and equipment design for project segments, including calculations, specifications, requisitions, vendor evaluations, drawing reviews, instrument documentation, and client coordination. Supports PFD and P&ID reviews, subcontractor oversight, plant start-ups, equipment inspections, and construction coordination. May specialize in safety shutdown systems, analyzers, PLCs, HMIs, or DCSs. Occasional plant, construction-site, vendor, and potentially foreign assignments may be required.

Performs electrical engineering and equipment design for moderately sized EPC projects. Prepares calculations, specifications, requisitions, equipment lists, and load summaries; evaluates vendor bids and drawings; reviews design documents; supports client communication, field investigations, inspections, plant start-ups, construction coordination, and subcontractor oversight. Provides technical guidance to junior personnel and ensures deliverables meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.

Independently performs mechanical design for equipment, components, structures, and systems across EPC projects. Prepares calculations, sketches, equipment data sheets, specifications, requisitions, equipment lists, and vendor bid evaluations. Interprets engineering codes and standards, including ASME and API, and applies knowledge of welding, materials, and nondestructive examination. Conducts occasional plant field visits, participates in PFD and P&ID reviews, and provides technical guidance and oversight to less experienced personnel.

Leads instrument engineering and equipment design across complex EPC projects. Responsibilities include preparing calculations, specifications, requisitions, instrument indexes, and process documentation; evaluating vendor bids; reviewing drawings; coordinating clients, vendors, subcontractors, construction teams, and multidisciplinary engineers; supporting staffing, scheduling, estimates, inspections, plant start-ups, and field assignments. May supervise engineering personnel and specialize in safety shutdown systems, critical control systems, or analyzers.

Leads project controls for EPC and Alliance projects, overseeing planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, change management, earned value, forecasting, and executive reporting. Establishes project coding structures, coordinates with engineering, procurement, contracts, finance, and construction teams, and manages project controls staff. Requires leadership, stakeholder management, contract knowledge, and extensive field travel to project sites across the Southern United States.

Performs moderately difficult to difficult manual and computer-assisted drafting assignments for equipment, facilities, and systems. Prepares detailed drawing sets from limited information, reviews manufacturer and fabricator prints, calculates material requirements, and applies standard drafting techniques, engineering formulas, and established procedures. Supports occasional field assignments at operating plants or construction sites and may work around industrial, construction, chemical, electrical, and mechanical hazards.

Lead process engineering and design for pulp and paper capital projects. Responsibilities include developing processes and controls with clients, gathering plant data, preparing equipment specifications, communicating designs across disciplines, participating in process safety reviews, writing operator manuals, and supporting proposals. The role may provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and requires occasional visits to operating plants or construction sites.
