Develops, maintains, supports, and improves Bank Negara Malaysia’s public-facing applications and digital infrastructure. Responsibilities include ensuring availability, performance, security, disaster recovery, incident resolution, application integration, software testing, stakeholder advisory, agile DevOps participation, project implementation, and translating business needs into IT solutions. The role also requires monitoring technology developments and supporting financial market infrastructure systems.

Leads cybersecurity risk surveillance, sector-wide assessments, policy and framework development, regulatory guidance, and cyber risk infrastructure improvements for the financial sector. Provides technical advisory, monitors emerging threats, develops supervisory tools and training, and collaborates with financial institutions, regulators, and industry stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity governance and risk mitigation.

Manage IT software development and infrastructure projects from strategy and business case development through delivery. Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, requirements and architecture review, procurement, vendor coordination, quality assurance, stakeholder communication, and project prioritization. The role also monitors emerging technologies, manages project expenditures, and builds relationships with external experts to improve IT project management practices and services.
