Leads supplier quality issue resolution, containment, corrective actions, 8D reviews, supplier audits, scorecards, PPM tracking, PPAP/ISIR approvals, and 4M change management. Applies ISO 26262, allocates system requirements to subsystems and components, evaluates designs against requirements, and develops hardware and software safety requirements. Represents systems safety activities to automotive customers and coordinates technical work across engineering teams.

Investigates returned automotive parts and OEM quality issues, prepares NCR and 8D reports, manages corrective actions, and tracks nonconformances through closure. The role leads customer meetings, supports PPAP and engineering change submissions, evaluates steering gear performance, and analyzes quality trends and costs for management reporting. It requires collaboration with global customers and occasional domestic and international travel.

Develop sales and business acquisition plans for North and South America using SAP and ERP systems. Analyze marketing metrics, market intelligence, competitors, customer needs, industry trends, and political-economic factors. Build performance dashboards, maintain OEM and product databases, support strategic decision-making, and prepare executive reports. Coordinate sales planning with U.S. account managers, Finance, and Korean headquarters. Validate sales recognition requests and review customer contracts for pricing, timing, and compliance.

Investigates warranty-returned steering components, performs electrical and mechanical testing, analyzes claim trends and failure modes, prepares customer and management reports, processes warranty invoices, and drives nonconformance reports to closure. The role applies root-cause analysis, corrective actions, quality methodologies, and automotive communication tools while supporting customer relationships and field-quality improvements in an on-site office and laboratory environment.

Designs and optimizes robotic actuator systems while leading systems engineering across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include defining architectures and requirements, managing interfaces, integrating mechanical, electrical, software, and controls systems, conducting trade studies and risk assessments, leading verification and validation, maintaining technical documentation and configuration control, and supporting manufacturing transition. The role is primarily onsite in office, lab, and test-track environments, with occasional domestic and international travel.
