Edit research publications, reports, articles, explainers, and executive summaries according to CEEW’s style guide and publication SOPs. Improve clarity, coherence, logical flow, and accessibility while correcting grammar, punctuation, spelling, formatting, duplication, and technical jargon. Provide constructive feedback to authors, apply Chicago Manual of Style referencing conventions, stay current with editing best practices, and deliver assignments accurately and on schedule.

Produce and edit short, engaging videos that communicate CEEW’s sustainability research and initiatives. Responsibilities include conceptualising, scripting, editing raw footage, creating clips from interviews and panels, adding transitions and visual effects, incorporating feedback, and collaborating with the creative team to meet audience and campaign objectives.

Maintains daily accounting records, processes invoices and reimbursements, manages financial files, fixed-asset registers, grants, and statutory compliance. Supports travel expense tracking, audits, budgets, donor reporting, utilization reports, and financial policy implementation. The role requires coordination with HR and administration, accurate bookkeeping, tax compliance knowledge including TDS and TCS, and proficiency with Tally, SAP, Excel, and other office tools.

Support CEEW’s Green Odisha Initiative by coordinating with state government departments, identifying opportunities to integrate green economy priorities into policies and budgets, developing departmental action plans, supporting steering committees, tracking results, and engaging policymakers, industry, and civil society. The role also provides day-to-day government support, conducts research and community engagements, collects primary data, and travels to districts as needed.

Supports the development of institutional publications, especially the Annual Report, through editorial research, writing, proofreading, copyediting, visual design, illustration, infographics, data visualisation, and presentation design. Coordinates stakeholder inputs, publication timelines, vendors, and assets while maintaining brand, formatting, typography, accessibility, and editorial standards. Also assists with communication proposals, concept notes, benchmarking, and special outreach projects.

Analyze satellite, air-quality model, and regulatory monitoring data using statistical and machine learning methods. Develop software and web-based tools, perform forecast bias correction, and produce research reports, policy briefs, publications, and actionable insights. Support outreach, stakeholder engagement, conferences, workshops, and training. The role also requires managing multiple priorities, collaborating across teams, and adapting to varied responsibilities.

Supports the Outreach team in researching, ideating, planning, coordinating, and producing video storytelling projects. Responsibilities include gathering references, developing scripts and visual treatments, coordinating contributors and vendors, assisting with location recces and shoots, managing permissions and documentation, maintaining production trackers and asset archives, and supporting edit reviews and content dissemination. The role offers hands-on experience in visual storytelling, production management, and collaborative communications work focused on sustainability.

Supports project budgeting, donor fund tracking, grant reporting, statutory compliance, payroll, vendor payments, reconciliations, audits, and financial documentation. The role also develops internal reports and processes, contributes to automation and digital improvements, manages finance data in accounting and productivity tools, and collaborates with HR, Admin, and other teams. Requires ownership, initiative, strong communication, and the ability to structure ambiguous tasks.

Performs geospatial data analysis, satellite imagery processing, environmental monitoring, GIS data management, and cartographic visualization. Develops Python and Google Earth Engine workflows to automate data processing, cleaning, conversion, and integration. Uses QGIS for spatial analysis, editing, geoprocessing, and map production. Creates reports and visualizations, ensures data quality, and collaborates with researchers, data scientists, and project stakeholders.

Coordinate logistics and administrative support for state-level air-quality initiatives. Responsibilities include planning events, arranging travel and lodging, coordinating with government departments and vendors, maintaining travel and expense data, processing invoices, reviewing quotations, monitoring expenditures, and resolving administrative issues while supporting finance, administration, outreach, and operations teams.
