Integrates software, hardware, networks, and applications across system development, including requirements, design, coding, testing, production, and maintenance. Applies systems engineering reviews, requirements decomposition, combat systems integration, risk management, program protection, technology readiness, and technical performance measures. The role is primarily on-site at Washington Navy Yard, with infrequent travel to naval facilities on the East and West Coasts.

The role is fully on-site in Arlington, Virginia and requires eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance.

Manage hardware configuration and technical data for Naval Combat Systems supporting amphibious ships and aircraft carriers. Responsibilities include maintaining technical data packages, controlling drawings, ensuring government-approved traceability, developing configuration management products and status reports, managing configuration audit plans, and supporting SSDS documentation such as SIDs, SCDs, ECPs, and problem reports. The role requires active Secret clearance, Navy or shipboard systems experience, and complex documentation workflow coordination.

Manage end-to-end billing for government contracts, including invoicing, government vouchers, accounts receivable collections, contract funding monitoring, cash receipts, and contract closeouts. Ensure compliance with federal contracting rules, DCAA guidelines, GAAP, and contract-specific requirements. Use Deltek Costpoint and Excel to prepare invoices, submit vouchers through government portals, resolve discrepancies, maintain billing documentation, and produce financial reports.
