Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and microservices for fiber monitoring and network visibility platforms. Build REST APIs and high-throughput distributed systems using Java, Node.js, and Go. Deploy containerized applications with Docker across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. Design, develop, validate and document software for the Optics division. Contribute to architecture and Linux OS systems, implement features, write automated tests, integrate components with hardware, and improve the application.

Establish and evolve data governance standards covering semantics, ownership, classification, quality, lineage, traceability, and usage. Define interpretation and reliability criteria, serve as the functional authority for data ontology, guide catalog and metadata decisions, identify governance and quality risks, and facilitate alignment among technical and business stakeholders. The role supports analytics, AI, products, and operational decision-making in a multidisciplinary, international technology environment.

Defines technical requirements and product features for next-generation telecommunications test and measurement systems. Acts as a technical subject matter expert, conducts technology scouting, interprets industry standards, creates test methodologies, prioritizes development backlogs, and serves as a Technical Product Owner in Agile teams. Focus areas include high-speed Ethernet, 112G/224G/448G electrical interfaces, SerDes, PHY technologies, signal integrity, and system-level test strategies.

Manage and prioritize the product backlog for optical fiber testing solutions used in outside plant, data center, and Data Center Interconnect environments. Translate business and technical needs into features, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with engineering, architecture, UX, and integration teams in an Agile environment, support release planning and continuous improvement, and engage customers and stakeholders to understand operational and market needs.

Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviews, candidate communication, and hiring. Partner with hiring managers on talent planning and sourcing strategies, represent EXFO at recruiting events, support onboarding, and provide market intelligence. Use data and AI tools to improve recruiting outcomes, contribute to workforce planning, share best practices, test new approaches, and participate in cross-functional Talent Acquisition projects.

Supports sales growth for high-speed transmission testing solutions by providing pre-sales demonstrations, presentations, evaluations, technical reviews, customer training, and trade-show support. Advises network equipment manufacturers, component manufacturers, hyperscale labs, and universities on optical and high-speed communications testing. Provides competitive and customer feedback to business and marketing teams. Requires approximately 25%–50% travel.

Manage regional customer engagement and key account sales plans for communications test equipment across NEMs, photonics manufacturers, webscale labs, and universities. Lead technical evaluations, commercial negotiations, customer demonstrations, trade show support, CRM maintenance, sales forecasting, and account growth strategies. Apply expertise in advanced optics, optical probing, high-speed transmission testing, photonics, and optical component technologies to position EXFO solutions and build executive-level customer relationships.
