Designs and sizes medium-voltage electric motors and generators for bids and customer orders. Performs electromagnetic calculations, prepares performance sheets and design documentation, analyzes customer specifications and international standards, and compares calculated performance with test results. Uses calculation tools and databases to develop economical designs that meet performance and manufacturing requirements. Collaborates with proposal, application engineering, manufacturing engineering, and test room teams under the guidance of senior colleagues.

Manages client-facing industrial projects, including project planning, financial forecasting, contractual changes, procurement and engineering coordination, supplier deliveries, cost and schedule monitoring, claims resolution, invoice approvals, and collections. The role requires coordinating multiple internal functions, reporting project progress, managing deviations, and ensuring successful economic and contractual outcomes.

Manage industrial projects from initiation through commissioning, ensuring scope, schedules, budgets, cash targets, margins, risks, and quality requirements are met. Coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics, erection, and commissioning activities; manage claims and change orders; maintain project documentation; communicate with clients and stakeholders; track performance metrics; and escalate issues to management.

Design and model mechanical solutions for electrical panels, containers, and skids. Produce 2D/3D assemblies and manufacturing drawings, manage vendors/consultants, evaluate thermal management (ventilation, A/C, liquid cooling), and specify outdoor protection and corrosion solutions. Support installation engineering and optimize equipment layouts.

Analyze RFQs and site data to prepare technical proposals and cost estimates. Coordinate with sales, project execution, supply chain and technical teams; produce bill of materials and supporting bid documentation; attend customer meetings and support negotiations.

Manage and grow metal-business accounts across Europe: analyze market, find new customers, drive sales growth, support technical/commercial proposals, present products, maintain CRM, plan sales forecasts, coordinate with project managers and product leaders to meet customer timelines and product needs.

Designs, implements, tests and commissions PLC and SCADA/HMI software for industrial automation projects (steel plants and port quay electrification). Defines module requirements, develops and validates software, performs testing and commissioning up to system acceptance, prepares documentation, and coordinates with suppliers, customers, and internal engineering and project teams.

Design and develop power assemblies and electronic boards for power converters from specification through implementation. Model converters (PSIM/Matlab/Simulink/PLECS), define and execute validation tests, produce design and test documentation, support system commissioning, and ensure compliance with international standards.

Design and implement control and protection algorithms and firmware for power converters. Perform modeling and simulation, requirements analysis, firmware testing and troubleshooting, hardware integration support, environmental and factory testing, software maintenance, and create technical documentation.

Support design, implementation, testing and commissioning of PLC and SCADA/operator interface software for industrial automation. Under senior supervision, contribute to requirements analysis, PLC/SCADA development and configuration, integration with automation hardware and networks, prepare validation documentation, perform testing, debugging and participate in commissioning activities. Role includes travel in Italy and abroad.
