Manages inside sales territories, established customer accounts, and new-business prospecting for technical metal products. Responsibilities include outbound and inbound sales calls, customer relationship development, quotations, pricing and freight negotiations, inventory availability, forecasting support, order documentation, account maintenance, and reporting. The role requires business-to-business technical sales experience in manufacturing or service centers, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to understand detailed product specifications and applications.

Manage full-cycle recruitment: source, screen, interview, and hire candidates; build pipelines with schools and partners; coordinate interviews, extend offers, maintain ATS data, represent the company at recruiting events, and ensure compliance with employment laws.

Based in Germany, the Director of European Sales develops and executes European business and marketing plans, identifies new markets and accounts, drives new business capture, builds customer relationships, creates proposals and forecasts, coordinates with product, operations and senior leadership, and represents Ulbrich at trade shows to grow sales across all company locations using metals industry expertise.

Partner with maintenance and production to design and implement continuous improvement projects, troubleshoot equipment, perform root cause analysis, develop work instructions and CAD layouts, support equipment qualification/purchasing, and apply SAS for IoT to improve process quality and predictive maintenance.

Manage assigned accounts for Ulbrich Shaped Wire, building customer relationships, providing technical product guidance, preparing quotations, entering orders in Axiom ERP, resolving issues, prospecting outbound sales, and meeting sales targets while supporting lean and ISO processes.

Support and improve specialty wire manufacturing processes by planning trials, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, implementing process improvements, supporting new product introductions, and collaborating with production, quality, and suppliers to reduce cost and improve quality.
