Level 2 Cloud Compliance DevOps Engineer assists senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain software. Responsibilities include writing and reviewing code, troubleshooting and live service support, applying DevOps practices, participating in incident RCA, supporting test automation, and collaborating with stakeholders while developing technical skills and following security and AI usage guidelines.

Lead and deliver engineering work as a senior individual contributor: write and maintain reliable, scalable code; perform code reviews; mentor junior engineers; support live services, incident analysis, debugging, test automation, and DevOps practices; apply basic AI concepts and system design to solve complex problems; collaborate with stakeholders and follow agile and traditional delivery practices.

Designs and develops AI/ML solutions (feature selection, model selection, training, prompting, fine-tuning) and validation frameworks. Analyzes data from diverse sources to identify business impacts, coaches/manages a small team, improves processes (including IT security), delivers elements of strategic planning and change programs, and manages knowledge and performance within assigned area.

Lead optimisation of end-to-end finance data and customer journeys, support migration to cloud architecture, collaborate with Product, Experience Design and Engineering, analyse data and processes, create journey/process maps, drive continuous improvement and cross-functional alignment, coach colleagues and deliver change outcomes for the Finance Data Transformation Lab.

Design, develop and integrate data products and pipelines on GCP. Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and SMEs to deliver medium-scale projects, improve data governance and IT security processes, coach team members, and coordinate cross-team schedules to meet business priorities.

Develop, maintain, and support .NET applications using MS SQL and DuckCreek. Implement observability (logging, monitoring, alerting), troubleshoot incidents, participate in code reviews, apply DevOps principles, and use test automation. Collaborate with stakeholders, support live services, perform root-cause analysis, and mentor early-career engineers.

Lead technical development and delivery across teams and platforms. Design, build and maintain complex software, enforce code quality, mentor engineers, manage junior reports, drive CI/CD and DevOps practices, improve performance and reliability, influence technical strategy, and own application health and engineering standards.

Lead DevOps practices across hybrid cloud platforms: build and deployment automation, CI/CD pipeline delivery, observability, test automation, and collaboration with cross-functional agile teams to improve resilience and release frequency.

Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver strategy and commitments. Provide technical guidance on AI and engineering choices, develop budgets, compliance and IT security policies, implement development frameworks, oversee data and knowledge management systems, mentor staff, and optimize resources while delivering change projects.

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React and TypeScript. Write clean, tested code, participate in code reviews, support live services, troubleshoot issues, and apply DevOps and test automation practices. Collaborate with stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, estimate effort for changes, and lead small technical initiatives to improve security, resilience, and performance.
