Leads aerospace machining First Article Inspection activities under AS9102, including preparation, review, approval, and submission of FAI packages. Verifies component conformity against drawings, CAD models, GD&T, specifications, and inspection records. Coordinates with customers on FAI status, NCRs, discrepancies, RMAs, and product acceptance. Supports contract reviews, corrective actions, configuration control, and continuous improvement while collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, inspection, quality, and supply chain teams.

Lead end-to-end NPI for mechanical parts and assemblies, focusing on motor assembly. Define assembly sequences, tooling, inspection, and tolerance analysis. Drive prototype, FAI, pilot, and production readiness; conduct supplier development, audits, and capability reviews. Manage DFMEA/DFM/DFA, AS9100 documentation, RCA/8D corrective actions, and mentor junior engineers while interfacing with customers.

Lead and manage the full bid/proposal lifecycle from RFQ to win. Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to define requirements, prepare competitive quotes, resolve pricing discrepancies, coordinate with sourcing/engineering/finance, maintain documentation, and report RFQ progress to stakeholders.

Evaluate customer technical documentation during RFQ for manufacturability and production readiness, recommend design/process improvements, support NPI/prototype builds, validate ECOs, mitigate sourcing risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production readiness for automotive and other industry programs.

Manage procurement of electronic commodities (ICs, passives, connectors, PCBs), ensure 100% material readiness via MRP/CTB, create and manage POs in ERP, resolve shortages, drive supplier performance, collaborate with production and engineering, and optimize inventory while reporting procurement and supplier metrics.

Lead mechanical sourcing for aerospace & defence: source machining, casting, stamping, and sheet-metal parts; develop and qualify suppliers; manage RFQs, NPI, cost reduction, and supplier QCD performance; coordinate cross-functionally and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.
