Position Summary: To facilitate the development of winning proposals for business opportunities by leveraging organizational resources and capabilities. Responsible for managing the complete process from the RFQ (Request for Quotation) stage to project win.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and Analyze RFQs: Gather RFQs from sales, thoroughly study and define customer requirements in collaboration with sales and the customer.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams (CFT): Work closely with cross-functional teams and the matrix organization to prepare comprehensive quotes and proposals.
- Review and Evaluation: Assess quotes and proposals, formulating and communicating competitive analyses in relation to customer expectations and internal benchmarks.
- Price Discrepancy Resolution: Address and resolve any discrepancies in pricing to ensure alignment with customer and organizational standards.
- Liaison with Key Departments: Coordinate with Sourcing, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Business Units (BUs) as necessary to ensure accurate product pricing.
- Timely Proposal Preparation: Ensure quotes and proposals are prepared promptly in accordance with internal benchmarks and customer requirements.
- Documentation: Document preparation, review & compiling for RFX response.
- Pricing Analysis and Support: Conduct analysis to support pricing initiatives, ensuring that quotes are competitive and winnable.
- Stakeholder Communication Management: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the bid process.
- Progress Reporting: Regularly report on the progress and status of RFQs to relevant parties.
Experience & Education: 8-10yrs experience in the EMS Industry with an Engineering background (Graduation - Electronics)
