May supervise character designers, delegate work, monitor schedules, mentor artists, and collaborate with executive, creative, production, and overseas vendor teams.

Lead backend-focused full-stack software engineering for scalable enterprise applications and services. Design APIs, microservices, distributed systems, integrations, and data solutions; contribute to architecture, coding, testing, debugging, cloud deployment, observability, security, and production support. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, drive engineering best practices, modernize technical debt, mentor engineers, and use AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery, quality, testing, and documentation.

Researches sports statistics, historical context, advanced metrics, and breaking news to create accurate, concise content for ESPN television, digital, audio, and social platforms. Writes scripts, game previews, BottomLine updates, anchor lead-ins, and show segments; develops graphics and provides real-time information to on-air talent. Requires broad sports knowledge, excellent writing, rapid deadline response, and availability for all shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Leads multiple software engineering teams delivering enterprise applications, digital products, integrations, and cloud-native platforms. Responsibilities include talent recruitment and development, technical and architecture leadership, roadmap and capacity planning, vendor management, production reliability, incident management, security, observability, modernization, DevOps, and stakeholder communication. The role also promotes AI-assisted engineering, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across technology initiatives.

Design, build, operate, and debug backend services supporting large-scale media acquisition, processing, metadata, and delivery across Disney streaming platforms. The role develops distributed systems using JVM technologies and AWS, handles production issues across service boundaries, collaborates with partner teams, reviews code, and mentors teammates. Preferred experience includes Kafka, video processing pipelines, Kubernetes, observability tooling, and operating production systems.

Serve as technical authority for manufacturing, welding, machining, and fabrication supporting ride and show mechanical systems. Provide DFM reviews, develop fabrication strategies, tooling and fixtures, author manufacturing documentation, support supplier qualification, lead process improvements, mentor engineers, and partner with Quality to resolve non-conformances and ensure safe, manufacturable, cost-effective designs.
