Responsibilities include preparing equipment specifications, datasheets, estimates, scopes of work, proposals, and conceptual and detailed designs. The engineer supports projects from feasibility through construction, commissioning, and operations, coordinates with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams, and may lead project engineers. Requires strong safety-in-design practices, industrial instrumentation and control experience, and eligibility for Arizona professional engineering licensure.

Provides process engineering support for mining and mineral-processing projects across conceptual, feasibility, front-end, and detailed design phases. Responsibilities include process calculations, flowsheets, heat and material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, specifications, troubleshooting, operational improvement studies, systems development, and client support. Requires collaboration across engineering disciplines, mining-site travel, and ongoing awareness of processing technologies.

Provides process engineering and design support for mining and mineral processing projects across conceptual, feasibility, front-end, and detailed design phases. Responsibilities include process calculations, flow sheets, heat and material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, specifications, troubleshooting, process technology evaluation, documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires 5–7 years of engineering design experience, professional registration eligibility in British Columbia, and mineral or chemical processing expertise.

Create detailed 2D electrical drawings and 3D models for mining and industrial projects. Develop layouts, schematics, panel designs, cable routing, grounding, lighting, substations, and electrical room plans using AutoCAD and Plant 3D. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary EPCM teams, translate engineering concepts into accurate designs, follow standards, and contribute to drafting software improvements.

Leads commercial and contract administration for a major EPCM mineral processing project. Responsibilities include managing contractual obligations, risks, variations, claims, notices, extensions of time, agreements, commercial correspondence, and disputes. Partners with project controls, legal, procurement, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to assess impacts, protect project value, ensure compliance, and support project performance. Provides strategic commercial advice, leads reviews, maintains claims documentation, negotiates agreements, and develops commercial capability across project personnel.

Develop and control integrated EPCM master schedules using Primavera P6, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor critical paths, milestones, progress, risks, interfaces, and schedule impacts. Lead planning sessions, produce forecasts, earned value reports, S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and status updates, and recommend recovery actions. Provide schedule insight to project leadership, clients, and delivery partners on a site-based mineral processing project in Brazil.

Maintain budgets, forecasts, cost reports, commitments, expenditure, accruals, cash flow, and cost-to-complete analyses for a major mineral processing EPCM project. Analyze variances and cost trends, support earned value reporting, track changes and risks, review supplier and subcontractor claims, and provide accurate financial insights to project leadership and stakeholders.

Leads global engineering systems, governance, standards, and digital transformation across Sedgman’s international engineering network. Establishes scalable frameworks, integrates engineering tools and processes, and advances BIM, data, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve productivity, quality, decision-making, risk management, and delivery predictability. Partners with regional leaders and manages engineering software vendors and strategic investments. Requires extensive EPCM experience, multidisciplinary engineering leadership, and 20+ years of engineering design experience in minerals processing, oil and gas, chemical, or related sectors.
