Full-time emerging leadership role at a Family Dollar location in Lexington, KY. Likely involves developing supervisory skills, supporting store operations, leading small teams, and participating in leadership development activities to prepare for higher-responsibility retail management roles.

Supervise unloading of incoming freight, verify merchandise using computer printouts, prepare receiving reports, assign storage locations, enter quantity data into system, perform other warehouse duties, and work off shifts as needed.

Manage and run the U.S. Import Compliance program: develop policies, monitor compliance, review entries, interact with U.S. Customs and agencies, oversee audits, train staff, and support daily import logistics.

Partner with divisional leaders across a multi-state territory to drive HR strategy and programs including engagement, retention, performance management, training, compliance, organizational development, and succession planning. Provide coaching, data/metrics, design and facilitate team development, conduct exit interviews, and support HR initiatives while traveling 25-50% and working from a home office.

Unload and load trailers, move and palletize merchandise, operate forklifts and conveyors, scan and enter inventory data, verify shipments for accuracy and damage, replenish pick areas, and perform general housekeeping in a distribution center.

Provide regional HR operational support including succession planning, staffing and retention, compliance, compensation and benefits, team relations, development and training, investigations, and people-metric analysis. Partner with regional and store leadership to implement HR programs, stabilize store operations, and ensure federal/state employment law compliance.

Support day-to-day workforce management and time & attendance for stores and support teams. Own reporting, labor standards, schedule templates, compliance, payroll reconciliations, system maintenance, analysis, process documentation, training, IT/business partnering, issue resolution, and implementation of WFM system enhancements.

Own end-to-end Workday people reporting and analytics for HR and Talent Acquisition. Design, build, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields; partner with business leaders to define KPIs, deliver insights, ensure data governance, and support workforce planning and ad-hoc analytics. Extend insights to downstream visualization tools as needed.

Provide financial oversight and analysis of store operations expenses (excluding payroll/supplies). Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, support annual budgeting, identify cost drivers and savings, liaise between Field Operations and SSC for P&L research and invoice reconciliation, and support strategic initiatives.
