Deploys, validates, and iteratively improves autonomous surface vessels through structured field tests, real-time troubleshooting, data logging, telemetry monitoring, and cross-functional coordination. Plans and executes test cases, performs root cause analysis, maintains vessels and test environments, and ensures compliance with DoD performance and safety standards.

Drive product and design strategy, craft high-quality visual and interaction design, communicate design rationale, and balance short-term and long-term product goals within a fast-paced environment.

Design, develop, and implement perception systems for autonomous surface vessels: build sensing and navigation algorithms, create metrics for performance evaluation, and work with large datasets for model training and evaluation.

Create and maintain user-facing technical documentation for autonomous surface vessels. Collaborate with engineers and production, translate complex concepts into clear SOPs and work instructions, ensure DoD and industry standard compliance, review/edit documents, update documentation from feedback, and manage multiple documentation projects. Portfolio required.

Develop and optimize fiberglass composite manufacturing processes for autonomous surface vessels. Troubleshoot production issues, ensure manufacturability, create process documentation and work instructions, implement lean improvements, support tooling design and quality control, ensure safety/compliance, and train production staff.

Lead manufacturing engineering at a shipyard to ensure production-ready vessel construction, manage engineering staff, optimize tooling and processes, drive continuous improvement, coordinate cross-functional production and design teams, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and schedule targets.
