Lead implementation and support of vendor-supplied Warehouse Control Systems (WCS). Manage vendor relationships, define integrations with WMS/labor systems, lead commissioning and testing, troubleshoot outages, perform gap analysis and risk mitigation, provide WCS updates to leadership, and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

Partner with Treasury and Finance to improve cash flow forecasting and working capital metrics, ensure SOX and regulatory compliance, resolve escalated billing/payment issues, onboard customers into Great Plains, and implement process improvements and automation.

Conducts full-cycle recruiting, screening, selection, and document verification for independent contractor CDL and non-CDL drivers. Builds candidate pipelines through sourcing, networking, career fairs, advertising, and agency partnerships. Coordinates applications, interviews, paperwork, contract terms, and hiring-manager communications while maintaining staffing reports and job boards. Ensures compliance with independent-contractor laws and supports company safety, ethics, quality, and sustainability programs.

Leads change management for transportation transformation initiatives, including technology deployments, process standardization, organizational changes, and site integrations. Responsibilities include impact assessments, stakeholder and sponsor support, communications, training coordination, frontline change-agent networks, adoption metrics, go-live readiness, sustainment, and coaching project and site leaders. The role partners with IT, HR, communications, vendors, and operations teams and requires field presence during deployments, with travel up to 30%.

Leads continuous improvement across transportation management and final-mile operations. Executes high-priority projects, conducts site diagnostics and kaizen events, deploys standard work and performance routines, manages cost-saving pipelines, validates benefits with Finance, and improves service, productivity, and profitability. Partners with technology teams to standardize workflows, coaches site leaders, and harmonizes processes across operations. The role requires substantial field travel, advanced analytics, Lean Six Sigma expertise, transportation knowledge, and senior stakeholder communication.

Manage assigned customer accounts, respond to inquiries, schedule pickup and delivery appointments, and provide timely shipment updates. Coordinate with carrier teams to book and track shipments for on-time performance, while supporting pricing and quoting activities under account executive guidance. The role requires strong communication, customer service, negotiation, multitasking, teamwork, and execution in a fast-paced logistics environment.
