Participate in a 10-week summer internship supporting core commercial insurance functions such as claims, underwriting, audit, IT, marketing, or HR. Manage employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and labor-law compliance while leading full-cycle recruitment and onboarding. Partner with managers on staffing strategies, build talent pipelines, and support employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and retention initiatives. Maintain confidential employee records and contribute to HR programs, policies, and projects.

Manages treaty reinsurance transaction processing for Property and Casualty business, including contract setup, premium and loss analysis, allocations, recoverables, data validation, discrepancy resolution, reporting, controls, and system testing. Partners with underwriting, claims, operations, IT, and actuarial teams to interpret treaty terms, improve workflows, support system enhancements, and serve as a subject matter expert.

Provides administrative support to the Claims function across London and Europe. Responsibilities include accurate claims data entry, reporting, claims processing, workflow and diary management in DOCOsoft, reserve reconciliation, fee and loss-fund follow-up, bordereaux uploads, and monitoring ECF/Lirma incompletes. The role also supports claims adjusters, maintains regulatory and compliance standards, reports potential financial crime and complaints, and assists with ad hoc projects.

Provides administrative and underwriting support for builders risk insurance, including reviewing submissions, maintaining underwriting data, preparing quotes and policy documents, communicating with agents and brokers, tracking deadlines and outstanding requirements, reviewing preliminary risk reports, supporting compliance and quality control, compiling reports, and maintaining organized records.

Manages and grows a portfolio of public company Directors and Officers liability accounts across the Central Region. Responsibilities include underwriting middle-market and large-cap organizations, assessing SEC filings and financial performance, evaluating governance and risk practices, monitoring litigation and regulatory trends, negotiating complex placements and renewals, leading client and broker discussions, and mentoring team members. Expertise in D&O, Employment Practices Liability, and Fiduciary Liability insurance is required.

Supports property underwriters by entering submissions, preparing renewals, obtaining risk reports, conducting catastrophe analysis, and processing policies and endorsements. The role also performs premium entry and reconciliation, maintains underwriting reports, follows up with brokers for audit information, and uses risk and insurance software systems. Strong organization, communication, multitasking, and advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills are required.

Manage primary and excess general liability claims, including coverage analysis, liability investigations, reserve evaluations, litigation oversight, mediations, settlements, and trials. Oversee third-party administrators, conduct claim audits and site visits, and communicate loss information to underwriters, actuaries, and reinsurers. The role requires strong negotiation, organization, communication, and prioritization skills, along with general liability claims and complex CGL coverage experience.

Support reinsurance accounting for multinational facultative and treaty business: record assumed and ceded accounts, process cash receipts and payments, perform billing, recoveries and general ledger reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and participate in ad-hoc projects.

Lead and optimize operational processes for Casualty underwriting profit centers. Oversee workflows, SOPs, KPIs, quality assurance, resource allocation, and regulatory compliance. Drive automation and process-improvement projects with IT and vendors, provide analysis and reporting to leadership, support staff development, and partner with finance and underwriters to improve efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.
