The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading sales efforts in the cooling tower industry, developing customer relationships, and securing strategic accounts while providing technical support and guidance.

As a Depot Engineer, you will maintain and repair a power and temperature control fleet, focusing on safety, quality standards, maintenance tasks, and team support.

Qualify and prospect sales leads within a regional market, develop and execute regional/sector sales strategies, collaborate with marketing and regional sales reps, generate outbound leads (email, web, phone), maintain accurate CRM data, and ensure seamless lead handover while monitoring local market dynamics and customer needs.

Identify, engage, and qualify active and passive candidates; build talent pipelines; partner with recruiters on sourcing strategy across LinkedIn, job boards and social media; track activity in ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter; measure sourcing metrics; improve processes; and deliver an inclusive candidate experience.

Lead and coordinate procurement programs (NPI, localization, supplier transitions, CAPEX) across cross-functional teams. Develop project plans, manage risks and governance, track supplier readiness, run review meetings, and ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.

Perform hands-on servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repairs and load testing on diesel generators (20–2000 kVA), undertake major engine overhauls, assess returned equipment, complete upgrades/modifications, and support AC/DC diagnostics, ECM programming and control module configuration.

Manage inward and outward goods, maintain accurate inventory records, perform stock audits, process time-sensitive spare parts requests, coordinate deliveries, liaise with operations, logistics and vendors, and ensure compliance with QHS&E and safe warehouse practices.

Participate in a graduate engineering program supporting day-to-day operations, maintenance, reliability, inspections, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Analyze technical data, prepare reports and SOPs, collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance, ensure safety and quality compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects while receiving structured training and mentorship.

Own the full sales cycle for industrial manufacturing customers: prospect, qualify, propose, negotiate, and close equipment rental and service deals. Manage accounts, maintain CRM records, develop sales plans, collaborate with operations and logistics, and travel extensively (60–70%).

Lead engineering design for generator products, coordinate technical tasks, define test strategies, ensure compliance, and develop innovative concepts.
