Supports DWS Japan’s anti-financial crime and compliance program, including investment guideline monitoring, regulatory filings and registrations, regulatory updates, policy maintenance, compliance training, AFC controls, and global projects. The role requires knowledge of Japanese financial regulations and asset management, strong Japanese and English communication skills, and the ability to work independently while using AI tools responsibly.

Conducts risk-based internal audits across DWS, evaluating control environments, identifying weaknesses, testing control effectiveness, drafting audit reports, tracking issues, and validating remediation. The role supports audit planning, special investigations, stakeholder relationships, and global audit engagements. Candidates should understand asset management products, investment management processes, risk management, and financial services controls, with strong analytical, communication, project management, and responsible AI-use skills.

Owns application IT governance, security, risk, audit remediation, IAM compliance, SDLC controls, cloud migration readiness, disaster recovery testing, patching, capacity planning, incident reduction, and application decommissioning. Partners with development, infrastructure, information security, and audit teams to maintain compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, technical roadmaps, and security standards. Provides risk assessments, documentation, release and change planning, and L3 incident support.

Leads platform strategy, research-driven content, targeted client distribution, thought leadership, and sales growth across active, passive, and alternative investment products. Collaborates with ETF and alternative specialists, key account managers, wholesalers, and product specialists to achieve sales targets, deepen client relationships, represent DWS digitally and at conferences, and communicate the firm’s investment value proposition.

Performs daily and monthly investment performance calculations and multi-level attribution across equity, fixed income, and multi-asset portfolios. Analyzes alpha, allocation, selection, factor contributions, and risk-adjusted returns; partners with portfolio managers and client teams to explain results and resolve issues. Maintains GIPS-compliant procedures, controls, and documentation, investigates data and calculation breaks, and drives process improvements. Also develops controlled AI, automation, and advanced analytics use cases for performance measurement and exception management.
