The Marketing Communications and Events Manager is responsible for developing and managing annual marketing plans for multiple markets, managing budgets, executing marketing activities, and aligning with national marketing objectives to improve local impact and sales growth.

Provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies. Coordinate with specialists, marketing, supply chain, and customer service; manage deliveries, resolve order issues, and perform regular in-person site visits across the assigned territory.

Manage and grow a territory by nurturing existing accounts and acquiring new customers. Deliver sales presentations, collaborate with internal teams, resolve delivery issues, and provide menu/product recommendations. Regularly visit customers, use CRM/ordering platforms, and meet sales and case-growth targets.

Analyze inbound logistics and freight data to optimize routes and reduce costs. Use Llamasoft, TMS, and ArrowStream to model lane solutions, maintain freight data, report freight performance, provide stakeholder recommendations, and mentor/coordinate with junior analysts and cross-functional teams.

Support distribution center operations by preparing and processing operational documents, responding to inquiries, tracking metrics, maintaining spreadsheets and databases, assisting warehouse and transportation leadership, supporting compliance, training junior clerical staff, and managing office supplies. Work is primarily office-based with occasional time in warehouse cooler/freezer areas.

Schedule and sequence delivery routes using routing software, match customer orders to trucks, balance loads by size and weight, build cost-effective routes, coordinate with Sales and Warehouse, maintain RoadNet and mainframe parameters, and prepare daily routing reports.
