Conduct and lead advanced pavement materials research using specialized testing equipment (MTS, AMPT, Superpave), analyze data and develop mathematical models, maintain and manage lab equipment, write proposals and reports, supervise and train graduate researchers, and present findings at conferences.

Conduct administrative and energy law research; draft rule text, guidance, memos, contracts, and governance materials to implement Act 458 and regulatory modernization; support Natural Resources Commission meetings and public participation; analyze statutory authority for permitting, data governance, financial assurance, mineral management, and restoration; assist leadership on legal risks and streamlined implementation.

Manage daily scholarship award operations in the Award Management system, train and support departments, reconcile scholarship accounts, coordinate scholarship swaps, support Workday integration, collaborate with LSU Foundation, and handle special projects and stakeholder communications.

Lead and execute college-wide multi-channel communications and strategy; advise and coach academic leaders; manage and mentor a communications team; develop messaging, media outreach, and impact reporting; analyze metrics and adopt new tools to measure and improve communications effectiveness; build partnerships with university, alumni, donors, industry, and government stakeholders; handle executive communications and crisis/public affairs support.
