Own end-to-end market expansion for a payments company, including market screening, business cases, licensing strategy, entity formation, bank account setup, payment rail access, budgeting, risk management, and commercial handover. Coordinate Legal, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, Finance, Product, and other teams without direct authority. Build repeatable market-entry playbooks, engage regulators and partners, and ensure each market meets defined readiness criteria.

Manage a risk engineering and data science squad, build real-time risk engines and ML models, optimize KYC/KYB onboarding flows, and develop lending/settlement risk models to minimize financial loss while preserving merchant and buyer experience.

Serves as a client-facing technical advisor during enterprise payment sales cycles. Designs payment solutions, leads technical discovery, delivers demonstrations, supports RFPs and RFIs, prepares integration documentation, manages proof-of-concepts, and guides clients through sandbox testing and integration planning. Partners with sales, product, engineering, legal, compliance, customer success, and integration teams while translating customer needs into technical requirements and product feedback.

Manage a portfolio of Chinese-speaking B2B clients post-go-live to drive adoption, retention, and account health. Own and execute reconciliations across Xendit's products and regions, automate reconciliation processes, investigate and resolve unreconciled transactions with internal and external stakeholders, and set up recons for new products and markets to ensure correct fund movement and prevent losses.
