The Head of Marketing will develop and lead the marketing strategy to drive business growth in Mali, manage team performance, and oversee marketing budgets and campaigns.

As Head of Brand Design and Creative, you will define and lead Wave's brand strategy, build a high-performing creative team, and ensure brand consistency across markets while partnering with various departments.

Provide front-line customer support for Wave users in Niamey: handle inquiries and complaints, escalate as needed, maintain product knowledge, use active listening to resolve issues, collaborate with teams, and contribute to process improvements.

Manage IT operations across multiple West African countries, ensuring uptime, security, vendor management, regional IT policies, endpoint and network infrastructure, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to support business operations.

Lead and manage a team of customer support representatives, set targets, monitor performance, implement processes and policies, escalate and resolve customer issues, produce support reports, conduct 1:1s and performance evaluations, and improve call quality to deliver excellent customer experience.

Protect mobile-money customers, agents, and the business by assessing fraud risks, conducting field visits, monitoring suspicious transactions, investigating cases, liaising with legal and authorities, producing dashboards and reports, training stakeholders, and engaging agents about commission issues.

Manage partner payments and escalations, interpret user data and Sigma charts, perform collections, forecasts and reconciliations, communicate and escalate outages/claims to partners and internal teams, write announcements, and support cross-country operations from the Ouagadougou office.

Lead and maintain the finance and accounting function in Malawi: ensure compliance with local financial, legal and regulatory requirements, manage external auditors, oversee finance staff recruitment and development, monitor transactions, implement accounting controls, and advise on tax and product accounting implications.

Manage People Operations and office administration in Kampala: implement HR policies, onboard staff, maintain employee records, process work permits, oversee office operations, supervise office staff, manage budgets and procurements, arrange travel, and plan events.
