The role involves designing and developing client software for game distribution and installation on PlayStation systems, ensuring compatibility and performance while working with multiple teams on solutions and implementations.

Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate mission-critical, high-availability, high-security systems supporting PlayStation manufacturing. Collaborate with global stakeholders and external partners, drive performance and quality improvements, model complex business domains, ensure data integrity and transactional correctness, and lead technical reviews and operations in on-premises and container-based environments.

Design, build, and operate high-availability, high-security on-prem and Kubernetes-based infrastructure supporting manufacturing, supply chain, and security systems. Manage monitoring, incident response, performance tuning, IaC/config management, HSM and key management initiatives, legacy modernization, global deployments, partner collaboration, and continuous operational improvements.

Research and develop system-level performance and low-latency technologies for next-generation PlayStation. Analyze OS/middleware/device/SoC behavior, design and prototype pipeline optimizations from input to rendering, implement and evaluate system architecture performance improvements, and collaborate across research and product teams to validate and transition technologies into products.

Develop backend server software (Amazon Linux) for PlayStation game packaging and content delivery. Own requirements analysis, design, implementation, developer testing, bug analysis, and developer support. Collaborate with server teams, overseas groups, product planning, and developer support to deliver secure, high-reliability content pipeline tools and infrastructure for global game developers.

Design, implement, test, and operate large-scale server-side services (web APIs, backend systems) for PlayStation online features. Collaborate with global teams, DevOps, and game developers in an Agile/Scrum environment, and contribute to system design, CI/CD, and production operations.

Write high-quality UI copy for PlayStation products and services across platforms. Collaborate with UX designers, engineers, and localization teams; participate in early product design and grooming sessions; follow style guides and tone of voice; manage multiple projects and improve tools/processes to deliver localized, user-centered messaging.

The role supports the PlayStation Network by ensuring secure network configurations, managing account permissions, and improving processes globally while collaborating with international teams.

The HR Operations Staff will facilitate operations related to support programs, assist in recruitment communications, and support employee events.

Develop and evaluate custom LSI for video output in PlayStation products, including specification, design, prototype verification, and mass production support.
