Aprio's Spring 2028 Tax/Audit internship is an in-office, full-time (40 hrs/wk) program for accounting students. Interns work on client tax returns, research, audit testing, internal control evaluation, and data analysis while receiving mentorship, networking, and professional development. Candidates must be accounting majors on the CPA track, have strong communication, Excel skills, and U.S. work authorization.

Spring tax intern will perform hands-on client tax work: assist with tax return preparation, tax research and planning, analyze financial data for tax opportunities, collaborate with teammates and partners, and participate in professional development, networking, and pro-bono group projects while working primarily in-office.

Lead client-facing tax planning, compliance, and consulting for high-profile private clients; drive regional business development; mentor junior staff; stay current on tax laws and deliver partnership and business-return expertise.

Lead client engagements and growth for Partnership Tax practice: provide strategic tax advice, oversee complex engagements, develop business, recruit and mentor staff, and drive firm strategy and revenue.

Lead assurance engagements, grow the practice, drive revenue and client relationships, mentor and recruit staff, ensure quality and compliance, and represent firm strategy and culture.

Lead and review complex individual, trust, and small business tax returns; provide tax planning and client consulting; manage engagements, mentor staff, and support strategic tax transformation initiatives.

The Senior Application Developer is responsible for application design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance, mentoring developers, and managing client relationships while ensuring project delivery aligns with scope and budget.

As a Tax Manager at Aprio, you will lead a team in developing tax strategies, preparing returns, and consulting on tax-related issues while ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with regulations.

Coordinate marketing project intake and delivery for Aprio's Growth Team: manage ClickUp tasks, set client expectations, liaise with subject matter experts, support production (AV/photo studio) and events, maintain content archives, and assist the Senior Production Manager to ensure on-time project completion.

Lead and perform IT audit, SOC and security/privacy assessments, test clients' controls, prepare reporting (SOC, gap/risk assessments, ISO, GDPR), mentor team members, support sales and practice development.
