Prepare and post journal entries, ensure US GAAP compliance, perform accruals and reconciliations, support month/quarter/year-end close, maintain SOX controls, collaborate with finance teams, and drive process improvements and automation.

Supports consumer research studies for the Scent team, including study coordination, desk research, questionnaire and protocol design, Home Use Test logistics, statistical analysis, and presentation development. The intern translates consumer and market data into actionable insights and recommendations for Creative, Marketing, Sales, and other internal stakeholders. This is a six-month, full-time internship based in Hilversum, Netherlands.

Lead scent category innovation from consumer and market insights through commercialization. Develop fragrance strategies, identify business opportunities, create innovation briefs, guide perfumers through olfactive direction, coordinate cross-functional projects, monitor performance, resolve technical challenges, and align regional and global initiatives with business priorities.

Supports B2B marketing through creation of branded materials, market and trend analysis, sample organization, customer engagement initiatives, and coordination of events and trade shows. Collaborates with Sales, Product Development, and Customer Insights teams while assisting with content creation, presentations, and marketing projects. The six-month full-time internship is based in Hilversum, Netherlands, and begins November 1, 2026.

Performs month-, quarter-, and year-end closing under US GAAP and company policies; prepares financial and statutory reports, reconciles US and local GAAP, manages tax compliance, and supports audits, SOX controls, P2P, O2C, payments, and government inspections. The role partners with shared service centers and requires strong accounting, tax, reporting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills in a multinational environment.

Maintain and improve global master data in SAP ECC by creating, updating, standardizing, and auditing records. Identify and resolve data quality issues, eliminate duplicates, support compliance and internal controls, and maintain complete audit trails. Collaborate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Accounting, and other stakeholders on data-related issues, process improvements, and governance initiatives.

Manage and track inbound shipments from global suppliers and interaffiliates to ensure timely delivery of raw materials. Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to resolve delays, arrange transportation, and clear shipments. Maintain shipment records, update SAP or logistics systems, monitor logistics provider performance, check freight invoices, and support cost-control initiatives to ensure smooth inbound operations across the Greater Asia region.

Coordinates logistics administration, including purchase requisitions, documentation, SAP master data, reporting, database maintenance, inventory counts, and transportation support. Reviews import, export, warehousing, and shipment records for accuracy, escalates discrepancies, and maintains operational data across SAP, Oflow, Salesforce, and other systems. Supports trucking arrangements, proof-of-collection management, and day-to-day logistics operations in an international, onsite environment.

Supports the Consumer Insights team with developing and executing research programs. Analyzes consumer research and helps translate findings into actionable insights for product innovation, marketing strategy, and commercial decision-making across fragrance categories. Works alongside experienced Consumer Insights professionals on real business projects.

Support project coordination tasks: administer and track projects in PUMA, prepare and ship fragrance samples, assist meetings and events, take minutes, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to reporting and process improvements.
